Fynch Consulting

Defining a dual-audience LinkedIn strategy for ILF Pakistan

Overview

ILF Consulting Engineers has operated in Pakistan since 2006, delivering more than 25 energy, water, and infrastructure projects. Much of that work had yet to reach LinkedIn, where ILF's offices in the UAE and Saudi Arabia had already built substantial followings.

We were engaged to define the channel strategy — audit, ICP, content architecture, and an AI-enabled workflow that would let a lean team publish consistently.

Services Provided

Problem

ILF Pakistan needed LinkedIn to do two jobs at once: build standing with public-sector infrastructure clients, and compete for engineering talent against GCC employers and local multinationals. Those audiences want different things from the same page. Without a defined profile for either, posting was sporadic and the firm's technical depth never surfaced — while ILF's own UAE and Saudi pages showed what the channel could carry.

Solution

We treated talent as a first-class audience, not an afterthought. For an engineering firm, the people who join are as consequential as the clients who sign — so we mapped profiles across both sides rather than defining the buyer and stopping there, as most B2B channel strategies do. Each audience needed its own content, its own trust signals, and its own formats. That decision shaped everything downstream: what gets published, in what form, and who it has to convince.

We designed around the algorithm rather than against it. LinkedIn suppresses corporate page reach, so the strategy didn't rest on the company page alone. It paired the page with the Managing Director's profile as a low-frequency, high-signal channel and a structured employee amplification model — an architecture with three routes to the feed instead of one.

We made consistent publishing possible without a content team. ILF's raw material was already there: project reports, case studies, employee interviews, global insights. We built an AI-enabled workflow to turn that dense technical documentation into publishable posts in ILF's own voice, mapped to a defined cadence and theme structure — so one to three posts a week became sustainable for a lean marketing function rather than aspirational.

Impact

ILF Pakistan moved from ad-hoc posting to a documented operating system for the channel: defined audiences, content pillars mapped to objectives, a posting cadence with theme days, a governance model, and a repeatable way to convert engineering work into content. The strategy positioned the page to earn amplification from ILF's global network rather than depending on paid reach. Running the strategy, the page grew from zero to more than 2,000 followers in eight months.
